iron, steel, metal の違い

アイアン、スティール、そしてメタル。

ヘヴィメタル感満載

なんだかヘヴィメタルっぽい単語が並びました。

ゾクゾクしますねぇ～。

METAL CHURCH とか IRON MAIDENとかありますが、私はこれらはあまり好きじゃありません。
爽やかな STEELHEART とか STEEL PANTHER とかは好き。

ま、それはさておき、これらはどう違うのかを英英辞典で見てみましょう。

まず、ironから

一般的な「鉄」ということです。

「木」とか「水」なんかと同じ次元で比べたときの「鉄」ですね。

次に steel を見てみましょう
