19世紀にできて、重要なビジネスと工業の中心地である・・・と。

これはマレーシアの首都　クアラ・ルンプール（Kuala Lumpur）のことです。

以前、マレーシアに行くことになったときに知ったのですが、「クアラ」と「ルンプール」で区切るのですね。
クアラというのはマレー語で「河口」という意味です。
