ギターで「ブリッジ」という指の押さえ方があるのですが、あらためて考えてみるとブリッジっていろいろな意味がありそうです。
今日はそれを見てみましょう。結構いろいろとあるので、次から次へと一気に行きますよ。

これはギターやバイオリンのパーツとしてのブリッジですが、冒頭で書いたように弦を押さえるときに「ブリッジする」ということもあります。
これは、１弦から６弦までを1本の指で一気に押さえちゃうことですね。まさにブリッジです。
こうやって見てみると、どの単語にもなんとなく「こっちとあっちを橋渡し」というイメージがあるような感じがするのですけれどどうでしょう？
