ということで、train といえば列車なのですが、英英辞典を見てみると train には他にもいろいろ意味があるようなのです。

ま、列車と同じようなイメージですよね。

related series とか connected sequence というコトバが目立ちます。
頭の中で考えた一連の内容・・・ということですが、なんといえばいいんでしょうね、これ。
適当な日本語が思い浮かびません。
でも、なんとなく「列車」と同じようなニュアンスがあるような気がします。

女性のドレス？？
ちょっと予想外の言葉が出てきました。
そのドレスのうち、床に届いて広がっているような部分。
これは「ドレスの裾」ですね。
これも、ドレスの後に続いてついていく・・・というか、引きずられていくというあたり、「列車」と同じような ニュアンスがあるかもしれません。
